Nerd Blogger Strikes Again

What is it with these geeky guys that think they can come along and introduce a whole bunch of tricks, and cool techniques that will turn plain old WordPress installs into awesome Internet Marketing and Blogging power machines?
I was right in the middle of developing some pretty neat plugins that would flat out transform the basic IM abilities of WordPress that I was planning to charge $97 for and I reckon that would have been good value.
But along comes that brilliant (and very annoying) nerd genius Robert Plank and he creates a website loaded with videos in which he shows anyone and everyone how to turn their WordPress blog into a freaking Ferrari featured machine! He completely blew my plugin development plans out the window and then goes and adds even more features that anyone can start to apply right away using his insightful nerdy knowledge for which he’s becoming famous (read "infamous").
So I figured,.. what the heck…. if you can’t beat ‘em join ‘em, so I decided to feature Roberts "Nerd Blogger" here.
Get in now while the price is still low,…
…..to your WordPress and Blogging success!

Russell,
I bought “Nerd Blogger” (not from reading your post)and was VERY unimpressed with it.
Wayne.
Wayne Cochrane´s last blog ..Beginning! 1.1.10 Hello! Welcome!
That’s interesting Wayne.
I generally really like the stuff that Robert and Lance come out with, but to be honest I think there tends to be to much focus on producing streams of new products that mostly can be found in PLR and common forum publications.
The thing that Robert has mastered is the art of creating powerful sales letters, video and webinars that compel people to buy,.. something in itself can be learned from that.
Nowadays if I buy something that I think is rehashed PLR or padded I’ll ask for an immediate refund. Clickbank products are great for that in so much that the vendor is obligated to refund under CB’s terms of service. So if its on CB and has a guarantee (which they ALL must) give it a shot and don’t be shy to ask for a refund if you think the product under-delivers or just isn’t suitable!
POST EDIT: May 5th 2010
You can read my other recent post entitled “Robert Plank Customer Focus Sucks” for an update on how I now feel about dealing with Robert Plank (& his trusty side-kick Lance Tamashiro,… they remind me of Batman & Robin somehow,.. KER..POWWW!!). I recently joined their Membership Cube program and after a whole week of not being able to access their membership area due to an internal 500 server error (their server,- not mine),..I was then blamed for being at fault and virtually accused of being a password sharing fiend and a trouble causer. They did give an immediate refund on request (to their credit) but the lack of caring and consideration and plain outright mistreatment of someone that was (past tense) a 100% converted customer was just shocking and is exactly the kind of mistreatment that gets Internet marketers and entrepreneurs a very bad name. Now… I will NEVER EVER buy anything nor recommend anything through Robert Plank or Lance Tamashiro again!
